An interesting thing happened today. The Raiders, in the midst of a head coaching search, removed the entire coaching staff page from their official team website.
Prior to the page's removal, the only names that had been removed were that of former head coach Hue Jackson and wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal. Even after it was revealed that defensive line coach Mike Waufle had signed with the St Louis Rams, his name remained along with the rest of the 2011 coaching staff.
The coaching staff's contracts expired a week ago and no word had come out about any of them being notified they were retained. This could be a sign of a complete overhaul of the coaching staff which new General Manager Reggie McKenzie said will be chosen by the next head coach.
McKenzie also said he hopes to have the new head coach in place by the end of this week, at which point we should see the staff begin to fill out and the return of the page on the website.

they're saying allen is the frontrunner and their negotiating, BUT moss and a mystery coach is still in the mix. dont think its a done deal with allen just yet, and i got a funny feeling its not gonna be him, ya know, the raider way. guess im waiting for john herrera to come out and run his mouth so that way i know its the opposite of what he says!
I have spent a lot of money watching and supporting the Raiders these past 10 years, and can honestly say that this year was the most exciting Raider team I have seen. Our offense was on par with any of these teams in the playoffs, and it was due in large part to the mind of Hue Jackson, who I still think should not have been fired....Many Raider fans forget, that when the Raiders were really struggling, their offense was horrific. It was predictable, had no flair or imagination and was just plain stagnant. I can't begin to say how many home games I attended in which half the coloseum was literally empty. This year was a whole different story, and it was nice to see sellout after sellout. Offense brought people back to the stands, and with a good offense comes a very competitive and marketable team....The Raiders need to hire an offensive minded coach who will connect with Carson Palmer and unleash his incredible potential, potential which I believe is a year away from offensive player of the year!!!
@raidersbuzztap The best coache for thr Raiders is Vic Fangio Defensive Coordintor.
