Campbell blows game

Let me tell you something Raider Nation, the Oakland Raiders offense with Jason Campbell under center will make you literally sick to your stomach. Today, the Raiders "savior" of a quarterback played like he wouldn't even have done anything with the Indianapolis Colts offense surrounding him. Campbell threw 21 passes and completed only 8 of them for 83 yards. Several times he double clutched and held back on throws. To start the game, he under-threw Louis Murphy on a flea flicker that was set up beautifully. Later on in the game, he overshot an open Murphy from his own end zone.

The San Francisco 49ers pick up their first win of the year today against the Raiders by holding them to only three Sebastian Janikowski field goals. The Raiders started hot with back to back drives of 13 and 12 plays, but they could not get the ball into the end zone.

The defense played well all game, allowing one of their lowest points totals of the year. However, they finished the game watching Alex Smith takes knees inside of their red zone because of Jason Campbell's second interception of the day that sealed the deal.

I'd like to say more about the game right now, but simply put, this offense didn't look any different than it did during Jason Campbell's first six quarters of the year. The Raiders are going to have to find something else to go to this year if they are stuck with Campbell as their quarterback for an extended period. The fans were told that Jason Campbell was not going to win any games for them, but he wouldn't lose any games either. Well he sure did a good job of squandering this opportunity.

Just pray for a quick recovery for Bruce Gradkowski nation. That is your only hope.
